Connect, Renew, Refine
A professional yoga teacher needs to have compassion, competency, confidence and critical thinking skills. You also need the company of like-minded people who will support and encourage you.
The TSY community is founded on the idea that when we acknowledge and celebrate our differences, we do great things together. We see each of our student teachers as unique and important voices for well-being and change.
Our 300-hour program is designed to help you increase your yoga awareness, consider your impact and refine your teaching. Classes and independent research are combined with group work, mentoring and teaching opportunities. You will study asana, Ayurvedic practices, anatomy, Sanskrit, mantras, mudras, chakras, and history as well as teach sample classes and assist in our 200 hour practice classes. Jen is your primary mentor and will make sure that by the time you are done you will have a clearer sense of who you are as a teacher, and a stronger, broader foundation to draw inspiration.
Teachers who have done our advanced training have started their own businesses, bought and revitalized established studios, opened their own spaces, written their own training programs, entered into academia, and more.
This training is offered once a year and is limited to 10 people to ensure you get a personalized, focused education.
