The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

TSY is a yoga teacher training school exclusively, we do not offer studio classes. This approach allows our students to be focused, open-minded and inclusive. Our student teachers learn the art of learning; the first step in becoming an accomplished teacher. You will learn the history and scope of practice and how to bring your unique perspective, life experiences and personality to your work.

The 200 hour program is perfect for anyone who wants to be a yoga teacher, as well as, those who simply want to study yoga more extensively. The TSY 200-hour program immerses you in the practice of yoga; history, philosophy, postures, anatomy as it relates to yoga, and subtle physiology from a yogic perspective. You will learn how to find your authentic voice, develop vibrant and creative classes, teach private clients and build a successful, thriving business.

An extensive yoga background is not required to join the TSY 200 hour community. Your ability or inability to perform asana is not an indication of your teaching potential. To be a great teacher, you must first be a wise and conscientious student. Our staff are diverse and dynamic. Our resources intentionally chosen and well organized. We will give you the tools to grow your personal practice and, should you choose, begin your yoga teaching career.

TSY is a community of friends. We celebrate you personal flair, unique perspective, and life experiences. When you join us you will connect with like-minded, independent people and create a supportive, loving network of friends and co-teachers to sustain you after you are finished with your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Come take a sample class with us and see what we’re all about! We look forward to learning and growing with you.
