An actor, mover and dedicated breather, the moment I was introduced to yoga, I knew it was for me. I came to yoga shortly after I discovered pilates, and found I was able to use both to correct and/or improve different physical issues, including chronic headaches. For a long while I practiced both, but as I experienced the personal transformations it brought, yoga won my heart. I graduated from Sonic Yoga’s 200 hour Teacher Training program, Hathavidya’s 500 hour training, and Bread & Yoga’s prenatal program. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 500 and Pre-Natal. I teach at various locations around NYC and am the studio manager for Sonic Yoga. I am also an assistant director for Hathavidya and co-teach teacher trainings at the 200 and 500 hour level (www.hathavidya.com ).
I teach from the Hatha philosophy in the Vinyasa style, creating each class on a theme, and incorporating pranayama, mantra and meditation. Strong attention is given to alignment. I am greatly honored to be able to share the transformations that yoga brings, to teach and to continue to learn.
