200 Hour YTT
TSY’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program is designed for students who want to deepen their understanding of yoga, whether or not they intend to teach. We will support you in developing both your personal practice and, if you choose, the foundations of your teaching. Our training is intimate, personalized, popular, and registered with the Yoga Alliance.
We celebrate you.
An extensive yoga background is not required to join the TSY 200-hour community because your ability to perform asana is not an indication of your teaching potential. We will give you the tools to grow your personal practice and, should you choose, begin your yoga teaching career. You will learn how to bring your personal flair, unique perspective, life experiences and personality to your work, how to find your authentic voice, develop vibrant and creative classes, teach private clients and build a business.
Course Details
Our curriculum immerses you in history, philosophy, postures, anatomy as it relates to yoga, and subtle physiology from a yogic perspective. You’ll also begin to explore how to bring your own voice into your teaching, developing sequencing skills, class structure, and an understanding of how to guide others with clarity and confidence. Classes are held in our New York City studio and are available online at the same time. Make-up options are designed to be flexible for students, and can be attended in person, or via Zoom if needed.

Time Flexibility
We understand that life doesn’t always align perfectly with a fixed schedule. You are balancing work, family, and other commitments alongside your training. At TSY we appreciate that you are carving out this time for you and we want your training to enhance your life, not add additional stressors.
To that end, our program is flexible and accommodating. Most of our classes are held simultaneously in-studio and online so you will be able to stay connected even when you cannot come in person.
If you need to miss a class, do not worry! You may attend class in another session. This is true whether you miss one hour or a whole weekend. We do not cap the amount of time you may miss or the amount of time you have to complete your training. If it takes you 6 months or two years, we trust you will complete your training when you are ready and able to do so.*
*Note: You will ALWAYS be allowed to make up your hours, however in person attendance is space availability contingent. If you miss so many classes that you need to enroll as a full time student in another cohort, your ability to join that class as a full time student will depend on space availability.
Payment Plans
We also offer payment plan options to help make the program as accessible as possible. Our goal is to meet students where they are and support them in completing their training in a sustainable way.
